About Cooperweb.
(Not just a name, but a name with the
word "web" stuck at the end of it)
The short version goes like this:
In 1997 Cooperweb blah blah blah blah,
then blah blah blappity blah-blah. When blah blah with several
blah blah's, blahing blah to all the blah blaher's.
The boring version goes like this:
I am a Chicagoan. I am addicted to
coffee, traveling and all of the arts. Yes, even the quasi-talented
arts and the more-than-likely gay ones. (I'm talking to YOU Michael
Flatley!)
The only exclusions to the arts and which
I would avoid are face-painting, standing still for quarters and any type
of painting with feces.
I am the quintesenssial Jack-of-all-trades.
In the world of technology, my resume ought to impress no matter what angle
one approaches it. From networking, to programming to desktop services,
I have supported, managed and recently began architeching upstart businesses
as a one-man tour-de-force.
I have built helpdesk teams for fortune
500's and have programmed 3 shift run books for wall street brokerage firms
saving 100k+ in previosly allowable fines. Yeah I roll like that.
In the world of entertainment and as an
original graduate of Chicago's Second City and founding member of The Illegitimate
Players, I have written and performed hundreds of shows, co-wrote four
original plays that are published by Broadway Publishers Inc and have played
in your town. I have written, directed and acted with seven wonderful
co-horts, both video and live presentations for dozens of Fortune 500 companies
including communications, financial and chemical giants. I have churned
out material for a weekly Group W comedy show in the greater midwest television
area. Commercials, Radio, voiceover and several caberet revues in
Chicago and Los Angeles.
I was the official still photographer for
Johnny Winter's "Don't take advantage of me" music video for Alligator
Records, as well as for Second City's 25th anniversery show. (The good
one, not the televised watered down one)
In music I played in a very unique band
of that time, The Bill Haas band / Wonderband along with brilliant musicians
including William Haas, Richard Pence, Jeff Tamraz, Bill Harris, Tim Menard.
I create computer compositions for free use for video sharing sites and
consult with R&B producers on occassion.
I have worked with and count as friends
several brilliant stars and talented people but choose to only name drop
the incredible Ruthie Rudnick and Sue Cargill.
Lastly, and less provable, I once acquired
the last known blossom of a fruity plant genus from the deep heart of the
brazilian rain forest, whose properties have been long thought to contain
an enzyme that if synthesized could wipe cancer from the face of the earth.
For centuries this plant had been depleted by the locals as the base of
a thick fruity nectar for their summer rituals. Long thought to be
extinct, it was no less a miracle to have been the one to stumble across
the last known plant in full bloom that fateful summer. And let me
tell you, that was the best damn smoothie I have ever drank.
